#15 - the not so little mermaids

This week, I'm very happy to finally share a painting that's been in the works for quite some time now.  A dear friend of mine asked me to paint this for another friend who just had a sweet baby girl.  I was not only excited to tackle something so big, but was honored that some one actually wanted to pay me for one of my paintings!  I thank her for the opportunity and was elated by her reaction when she saw it completed.

I also had some fun taking pictures along the way and thought I'd throw those in too.
